SE Portland’s Woodstock neighborhood encapsulates the city’s young and old spirits better than anywhere else in town. Some of the homes in this quiet residential neighborhood were built in the 1880s and the beautiful tree-lined streets are often alive with active and social residents. 

VIBE AND STYLE

Woodstock is far enough away from downtown to have lots of space, but vibrant enough to create all the entertainment and culture its residents need. The neighborhood includes foursquare, Tudor, Colonial and Bungalow style homes. The Neighborhood Association keeps residents informed of local events and opportunities.

LOCAL SCENE

Woodstock’s Village Center, where most business and civic activity is concentrated, is located on SE Woodstock Boulevard between SE 39^th and SE 52 Avenues. Every Sunday, from June through October, mingle with your neighbors while shopping for fresh produce at the Woodstock Farmers Market.

OUTDOOR SANCTUARY

Woodstock Park is located right in the center of the top half of the neighborhood. Enjoy the fir-lined pedestrian path, picnic area, multiple sports fields, and an off-leash dog area. One can find many more parks right outside the neighborhood boundaries. In general, Woodstock is one of the most walkable neighborhoods in the city, with basic amenities located within a close distance to the area’s residences.
