Sellwood


Sellwood is located three miles south of downtown Portland on the east side of the Willamette River. Once known simply as “Oregon Country,” this area is rich in history stretching back to the late 1840's before Oregon was even a state. Previously operating independently with its own city council and sheriff, it became a part of Portland in 1893.
