The Hasson Company to Sponsor Central Oregon's Pole Pedal Paddle Competition in May

The Hasson Company, the Pacific Northwest's top-selling independent real estate brokerage, recently announced that it will sponsor the 32nd annual U.S. Bank Pole Pedal Paddle competition in Central Oregon on Saturday, May 17, 2008.
Participants in the Pole Pedal Paddle competition race from Mount Bachelor to the Les Schwab Amphitheater in Bend, Ore. Competing in teams, pairs or as individual athletes, participants will alpine ski, cross-country ski, bike, run, canoe/kayak and sprint to the finish line. Nearly 3,000 competitors are expected to participate in the event - one third of which hail from outside the Central Oregon region, including the Portland metropolitan area, Washington and California.
Since opening four years ago, The Hasson Company's Bend branch has consistently ranked in the top four real estate companies for total volume in Central Oregon. Despite all the challenges of today's market, The Hasson Company is ranked No. 1 as it pertains to transaction sides and No. 2 for total sales volume through March 21, 2008. The company's Bend branch, located in the Old Mill District, is the base for 50 agents who commit themselves wholeheartedly to the company's overall mission of giving back to the communities in which it does business.

The finish line of the Pole Pedal Paddle competition in the Les Schwab Amphitheater area will host a day-long festival of various food, music and sponsor booths. The Hasson Company's Bend branch will have two teams participating in the event as well as a booth that will focus on real estate opportunities in Central Oregon. The company hopes to capitalize on the opportunity at the event to get in front of people who love to call Central Oregon home.
