Mike Hasson — Founder and President

Mike Hasson is a native Oregonian. After graduating from the University of Oregon, Mike pursued his passion for business and real estate. In 1983, he launched Handel, Hasson & Jones, a residential real estate brokerage, in Lake Oswego. During that venture, Mike earned a reputation for smart business, strong ethics, exceptional client relationships, and respect from his industry. In 1991, he formed Hasson Company Realtors, with its first branches in Lake Oswego and Portland. Throughout the company’s growth, Mike’s fundamental goals and values have remained true and he continues to support the areas in which he does business through community involvement.

Steve Studley — Vice President of Marketing and Business Development

Steve Studley graduated from the University of Portland with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Management and joined Hasson Company Realtors in January of 2008. Prior to Hasson, Steve was the Direct Sales Manager for Wynn's ITW in Azusa, California. Currently Steve’s responsibilities include identifying potential agents for the company, overseeing the interview process employed by Hasson Company Realtors and the hiring process itself. Additionally, Steve facilitates the communication and execution of the firm’s annual marketing plan while also maintaining a focus on implementing process and control efficiencies for the company.

Lynae Forbes — Vice President of Broker Services
Managing Principal Broker of Northwest & Northeast Portland Branches

Lynae Forbes studied business at the University of Oregon and before joining Hasson Company Realtors worked as a property manager for local developments. Lynae has been with Hasson Company Realtors since 1992; she began as an agent and was later promoted to Managing Principal Broker. Now, as Vice President of Broker Services, all Hasson branches report directly to Lynae as she oversees the real estate activities of all the Hasson agents. As a member of the Risk Management Committee, Lynae is dedicated to keeping up-to-date on market topics. She also represents Hasson Company Realtors on the Board of Directors for the Portland Metropolitan Association of Realtors.

Ward Spears — Managing Principal Broker, South & East Metro Branches

Ward Spears moved to Oregon from Colorado as a young child, and became a licensed Realtor immediately upon graduating from Oregon State University. After more than a decade in real estate, Ward returned to school and received his MBA from Portland State University in 2006 in order to further his education. The expertise garnered from PSU is what Ward brings to the Hasson Advantage- helping agents in his offices to grow their business with new ideas and unique strategies for offering a stellar client experience.

Jason Gooing — Managing Principal Broker, Central Oregon Branch

Jason Gooing is an Oregon native who studied at Oregon Institute of Technology and Portland State prior to becoming a realtor. Since receiving his real estate license in 1992, he has dedicated his working life to real estate, working as a realtor, assistant manager, and certified national trainer. Jason is a Graduate of the Realtor's Institute (GRI), and was named a top 10 Broker in the Pacific Northwest for two years in a row while working with Hasson Company Realtors. Jason's goals for this branch include bringing in new technologies and tools to keep Hasson agents (and clients) ahead of the business curve.

Tonia Rhine — Managing Principal Broker, Southwest Washington Branch

Tonia Rhine has been a resident of Clark County since 1973, and has worked in construction sub-contracting and motorcross engine development in addition to her Real Estate career. In the twenty-six years since she was licensed, Tonia has received an extraordinary number of designations and certifications, including ERA Relocation Specialist, New Home Sales Specialist, Accredited Buyer Representative, Approved Real Estate Instructor, and Distressed Property Expert. Tonia joined Hasson Company Realtors in 2006, and looks forward to helping the SW Washington branch find new and better ways to connect to its local communities.

Bill Berger — Managing Principal Broker

Bill Berger graduated from Oregon State University in 1965 with a business degree and a minor in building construction. He worked in the building materials supply industry for 23 years before entering the real estate industry in 1988. As the Managing Principal Broker of Hasson Company Realtors’ South Metro branch, Bill’s mission is to help the brokers in the office successfully grow their businesses and be the very best they can be in all aspects of the real estate profession.

Patrice Kuchulis — Director of Relocation & Corporate Services

Patrice Kuchulis has been licensed as a Realtor since 1975, and has served as the Director of Relocation for the Hasson Company since 1993. Patrice has called Colorado, Wisconsin, California, Virginia and Oregon home and knows the relocation experience inside and out. In her time at Hasson Company Realtors, Patrice has been awarded multiple regional and national awards for her devotion to broadening the scope and capabilities of Relocation offices, including the 2011 Leading Real Estate "Hall of Fame" award. Patrice is currently serving as the Vice President of the Portland Relocation Council, and regularly speaks at Relocation conferences and workshops.
