Melody Nichols' mission as a broker is to create an enjoyable experience for her clients, with as much ease as possible. Melody has 13 years of customer service experience from working in the hospitality industry in Portland’s entertainment district. Melody quickly advanced in her career to become the Director of Public Relations. Her transition to a career in real estate was fueled by the desire to help clients through buying or selling a home, so they can more quickly get settled and start making memories.

Melody was born and raised in Sandy, OR and then moved to Kirkland, WA to attend Northwest College. Before moving back to Oregon, Melody worked as the personal assistant for the Black Eyed Peas when she lived in Los Angeles. When Melody isn’t spending time with her family, she can be found attending art shows, concerts, enjoying the outdoors or performing with her band.

As someone who takes incredible pride in living in the Pacific Northwest, Melody is excited to share this passion with her clients. Melody looks forward to building new relationships and learning about her client’s needs, so she can exceed their real estate expectations.

Melody was an amazing agent. She was patient and on point. She went to over 50 houses with me which extended for over a year. I had very specific requirements including acreage, that was fenced properly and had outbuildings prepared for my livestock to be moved upon closing. The location was also an issue as to avoid a long commute to work. Plus I had my heart set on having a creek on the property, so It was extremely difficult to meet my needs, both inside and outside the home. Yet she was always punctual with phone calls, emails and viewings. The house I bought we viewed 3 times before I could make a decision. And when that time finally came Melody was in Hawaii visiting family but still made me a priority and not only wrote the deal there but was constantly on call from both ends. I am extremely grateful and exhilarated by the entire experience.

You were SO good at the whole process I truly felt as though you were our champion, fighting for us in the tournament of home ownership! :) There are so many facets and pitfalls, avenues and detours... and you helped us through every one! You were 110% there and accessible with answers to every question. You provided us with problem solving solutions and a calm reassurance that everything was going to work out. And look....it did! :) You're the best.

Melody went above and beyond to work with my abnormal, in and out of town, work schedule. Being that I am out of town on work a lot, it took a while to find what I was looking for, and Melody always approached each new viewing with a positive attitude and no pressure. She set a high expectation which she met with flying colors, and delivered great customer service during the home looking and buying process. She asked meaningful questions about what I was looking for in a home, and put that information to good use when sending me house listings to look at that matched what I was interested in. I looked for over 2 years until I finally found the home I wanted! In that span of time we went through so many different experiences in my home buying process! I bidded on a house and got accepted, then got the inspection and it showed some unsavory things about the house, so I then pulled my bid based off that inspection. I got an accepted bid on one house I wanted, and then another seller accepted me as a backup offer. That put me between a rock and hard spot as I wanted both, and Melody coached me into making the right decision of the two. Melody was a great communicator during the whole process. She always came to each home viewing prepared with information on the home we were looking at. When I finally found my home and it came time to do the paperwork, she made it seamless. With my hectic schedule we were able to do everything online. I only had to show up in person for the signing of all the documents at the closing. All the other documents that needed signing we were able to do by docusign online. This made the process so much easier. I would most definitely go through her again if I decide to sell my current home, or buy more properties!

If I had to put into one word my personal experience with realtor Melody Nichols I would say PERFECTION. I know that seems odd considering no transaction is perfect. Melody was consistently professional. She went above and beyond what a realtor should do. Including, helping us move large logs out of our grass so we could get the job done faster! If there was a problem, Melody always came up with a solution and handled herself professionally. She has a plethora of resources and is, herself, a vital resource. Melody was quick about getting responses from others involved in the transaction and always kept us in the loop! Melody worked hard to get our family everything we wanted/deserved from our transaction….and then some. Would I use Melody again? WITHOUT a doubt. I would call her first. I would strongly recommend her to any of my friends, co-workers and loved ones. Melody is the essence of trustworthy. In this day and age you can never be too careful of who has your best interests at heart and who is just out for a paycheck. I can assure you that Melody truly cares for her clients “best interests” and it shows in the work she does for you. We are so grateful that she was our realtor!!!
