Melissa McReynolds has lived in the Portland area for more than 20 years. She received a BS in Human Development and Family Sciences with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education from Oregon State University and a master’s degree in Special Education from Portland State University.
Prior to starting her career in real estate in 2021, Melissa worked in Early Childhood Education for 25 years in a myriad of roles, including as a Substitute Teacher, Lead Preschool Teacher, and Administrative Assistant. Most recently, she was the Family Resources Coordinator at Nike, where she helped employees and their families find high-quality childcare options and coordinated and led parent education trainings.
Melissa enjoys connecting people to resources, both personally and professionally. She values customer service and knows the importance of building trust and getting things done. She is passionate about helping others and looks forward to using her vast skillset to assist clients with their real estate needs. Growing up with a father who was a general contractor and completely remodeling their 1940s ranch, Melissa has access to a network of home improvement specialists.
Melissa is married and has two daughters, one in college and the other in high school. They have two dogs, Farley and June. In her free time, Melissa enjoys watching her daughters play lacrosse. She’s an avid sports fan, and especially enjoys watching the Beavers and Blazers. She likes collecting paper and fabric for scrapbooks and sewing projects, reading, and volunteering in her community.
