I look at real estate as an extension of the 15 years I was an interior designer. With 13 of those years as the owner and principal designer of a local design firm, I have a unique perspective on design trends, project costs, and the type of communication and guidance it takes to help people meet their home goals. Knowing your competition, being able to negotiate, and sell ideas are skills I honed as a trade coordinator for one of the largest Japanese Trading companies in the world. As a realtor it is my mission to listen to what you’re trying to accomplish and utilize my resources and experience to guide you through the process. My hope is to give you such an enjoyable experience that you become a lifelong client and refer me to your family and friends without hesitation.
As a native Oregonian with over 20 years in Portland, I have a lifetime of experience and knowledge about the area, including an in-depth understanding of different neighborhoods and a variety of communities. Before moving to Portland, I had the privilege of growing up in beautiful Bend, OR, and still go back regularly to visit family and enjoy all of the outdoor activities Bend has to offer.
With such strong and deep local roots it’s important to mention that I also enjoy travelling and learning about different cultures, especially the people and their stories. Being able to live and study in Paris, France was a major factor in pursuing a BA in International Business with a minor in French from Linfield College. Living abroad has given me a curiosity to know more about people, and an appreciation for the variety of cultures that come together in Portland.
When not working, I love to get out! I spend a lot of time at events for my three kids and enjoy watching them grow in their various pursuits. You can also find me running our rescue dog, spending time with family and friends, cooking delicious meals with local ingredients, hiking, camping, and searching for that perfect piece at estate sales.
