Mugs Coffee—located just over the river in Bingen—just added their famous Pumpkin Pie Latte to their menu for the 2021 season! This delicious coffee drink is full of spicy, sweet goodness and topped with plenty of whipped cream and cinnamon. And, if you aren’t ready to let go of the warm weather just yet, you can also get it blended with ice for a cold seasonal treat!

Pumpkin Butter or Apple Butter from the Apple Valley Store

The Apple Valley Store, which is located along the Hood River Fruit Loop, is one of our favorite places for tasty pies, crisps, jams and other goodies all year long. But if you’re looking for something delicious that will perfectly capture the season, don’t miss their Pumpkin or Apple butter, both of which are incredible on toast, in sweet potatoes, on top of scones or anything else you like to put butter on! You can order both butters—along with hundreds of other treats—online or pick them up in their adorable country store.

Warm Hugs Tea Blend from Good Medicine Tea

For tea lovers, you can’t go wrong with any blend from Good Medicine Tea. Another stop along the Hood River Fruit Loop, Fox-Tail Cider & Distillery is a destination for delicious cider, beer, wine and spirits. Their hard cider is the perfect fall treat, offering a variety of flavors that are all unique and gluten free. Pay a visit to their tasting room this season and order their famous cider tasting tray, made up of 10 of their ciders, along with a selection from their growing food menu.

For those with Celiac Disease or who are on a gluten-free diet, Columbia Gorge Bakery is a little piece of heaven. This bakery is 100% gluten-free, offering everything from bread and cookies to cakes and pastries made using gluten-free flour and other ingredients. This season, whether you’re gluten-free or not, we definitely recommend stopping by for a seasonal hand pie! Their fall sweet pie selection is blackberry while their savory is tomato basil, but regardless of which one you choose, we promise it will be absolutely delicious!

Cinnamon Rolls from Bette’s Place

When you want to eat like the locals do, head to Bette’s Place. Named “the friendliest restaurant in town”, this quaint eatery serves diner favorites from French toast and omelets to specialty burgers and homemade soups. If you want to enjoy something a bit more indulgent this season, don’t miss their massive cinnamon rolls, topped with a heaping mound of frosting, that go perfectly with a side of freshly brewed coffee. And, be sure to keep an eye on their Facebook page for other seasonal treat announcements!
