Restaurants in Bend, Oregon Open on Thanksgiving 2019

It’s time to get your turkeys prepped and your pumpkin pie recipe ready because the most important food holiday is on the horizon. That’s right — it’s almost time to sit down with friends and family over a delicious Thanksgiving meal. But if you’d like to spend less time prepping and cooking and more time chatting and eating, we have good news for you!

There are several restaurants in Bend open for Thanksgiving this year. Most offer a special Thanksgiving meal in buffet, a la carte or prix fixe style, while others are simply open for business with their regular menu. Hang up the apron and make your reservation at these cozy restaurants in Bend so you can relax and enjoy this special holiday with the ones you love.


Brasada Ranch

Brasada Ranch is offering three unique dining experiences on Thanksgiving Day, varying in time, prices and offerings. You may make a reservation for any of these meals by calling 541-526-6870.


Thanksgiving in the Barn | 12–6 p.m.

Join Brasada Ranch for their family-friendly Thanksgiving in the Barn meal from 12–6 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Kids can play lawn games and participate in kids crafts throughout the day, and all will feast on a hearty Thanksgiving buffet, which features favorites like local cheese and charcuterie, smoked trout, a few salads, whipped Yukon potatoes, grilled baby carrots, roasted Brussels sprouts, honey-roasted turkey and braised leg, and much more — including a table with options for kids. The buffet costs $50 for adults and $28 for kids ages 5–10, with an added 23 percent service charge.


Thanksgiving at Ranch House | 2–8 p.m.

The Ranch House Restaurant is serving a la carte Thanksgiving specials in a family-friendly setting complete with festive decor. There is no set price for this meal — simply order and pay for a la carte items to share as a family. Check out the menu for the Ranch House meal!


Thanksgiving at Range | 3–6 p.m.

The cozy and rustic Range Restaurant & Bar is serving a special three-course prix fixe Thanksgiving dinner from 3–6 p.m. The menu includes a variety of options for your first and second course, and the most important course of all: dessert. The meal costs $68 for adults and $38 for kids ages 5–10, with an added 23 percent service charge.


Broken Top

1–4 p.m.

Let Broken Top do the cooking this year — whether or not you are a member of this renowned golf club. Their Thanksgiving Buffet will be offered from 1–4 p.m., featuring both traditional favorites and innovative classics. The buffet costs $48 for members and $53 for non-members, and $18 for kids ages 6–12 and free for kids under 6. Make your reservation in advance by emailing or by calling 541-383-8200.


Sunriver Resort

Take the drive down to Sunriver for the complete resort experience amidst a serene forest setting at Sunriver Resort. On Thanksgiving Day, they are offering three different dining options in a few of their many dining destinations.


Carson’s American Kitchen | 12–7 p.m.

Carson’s American Kitchen is serving an elaborate and delicious traditional Thanksgiving dinner in their cozy and comfortable setting. The cost is $64 per adult, $32 per child ages 6–12, and free for children 5 and under with a paid adult. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 541-593-3740.


Grille at Crosswater | 2–6 p.m.

The exclusive Grille at Crosswater is serving a special holiday menu open to resort guests and members only. Take advantage of the free shuttle to and from the Sunriver Lodge and indulge in a delicious meal in a beautiful setting emulating a true Northwest family dining room. The meal costs $64 for adults, $32 for children ages 6–12, and free for kids ages 5 and under. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 541-593-3400.


Great Hall Thanksgiving Dinner | 2–6 p.m.

Indulge in a bountiful buffet in the grand Historic Great Hall at Sunriver Resort. They will be serving all of the traditional Thanksgiving favorites, plus an assortment of delectable Northwest-inspired dishes. Choose from a wide array of options on the buffet menu, from appetizers to dessert. The inclusive cost for the buffet is $67 for adults, $34 for children ages 6–12, and free for children ages 5 and under. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 541-593-1000.


Hola! Bend

11 a.m.–10 p.m.

Switch things up completely with a visit to Hola! Bend this Thanksgiving. Their Old Mill District location will be open with their regular hours this year. Hola! creates innovative Nouveau Mexican and Peruvian cuisine using the most unique flavor combinations and the freshest ingredients, accompanied by fine tequilas — all in a fun, laid-back setting. This would make the perfect meal if you need something to tide you over until a late Thanksgiving dinner, or if you’re skipping the cooking altogether this year!


Pine Tavern

11:30 a.m.–9 p.m.

During the warmer months, Pine Tavern’s outdoor patio overlooking Mirror Pond is the place to be. And during the fall and winter, retreat to the cozy and rustic interior, complete with a giant Ponderosa pine tree growing in the middle of the dining area. The Pine Tavern remains open with their regular hours on Thanksgiving Day, offering their full lunch and dinner menus filled with delicious comfort foods like mac and cheese, salmon, rib eye, pastas, salads, and more. Opened in 1936, the Pine Tavern has been a mainstay in downtown Bend for locals and tourists alike — making it the perfect place to spend Thanksgiving.


McMenamins Old St. Francis School

12–6 p.m.

The Old St. Francis School is doing the cooking this year so you can relax and enjoy this historic building and uninterrupted time with family and friends. Their buffet includes a mixture of classics, from roasted turkey to pumpkin pie, plus some delicious sides you won’t find anywhere else. Plus, the bar will be open so you can pair a beer, wine or cocktail with your feast. The price ($39 for adults, $24 for kids ages 5–12, and free for kids 4 and under) includes the buffet dinner only.


Pronghorn Resort

11 a.m.–3 p.m.

Pronghorn Resort is offering a special Thanksgiving buffet with all the delicious fall staples your heart desires — from butternut squash soup to pumpkin cheesecake, and every rich and comforting dish in between. Awbrey Glen

11:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Retreat to the prestigious and comfortable restaurant at Awbrey Glen on Thanksgiving. With a seating every hour from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., you have several opportunities to enjoy both their hot and cold buffets packed with favorites like oven-roasted carved turkey, whipped potatoes, traditional stuffing, and much more. The all-inclusive meal costs $48 for adults and $16 for kids ages 6–12.


Jackalope Grill

3–9 p.m.

The cozy and romantic Jackalope Grill is opening at 3 p.m. on Thanksgiving for a delicious array of offerings. Snack on hors d’oeuvres like roasted marrow bone or crispy fried calamari and indulge in a main course, such as the traditional Thanksgiving dinner, which features roasted turkey, Granny Smith apple dressing, mashed potatoes, fresh vegetables, lots of old-fashioned turkey gravy and chef’s orange-roasted cranberries. Don’t forget to top off the evening with one of Jackalope Grill’s famous housemade desserts!


The Phoenix

1–6 p.m.

Feel right at home at The Phoenix, a warm and inviting restaurant serving a special prix fixe menu from 1–6 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. The Phoenix is comprised of three restaurants in one — the main dining room, a private dining room, and the bar/lounge, which caters to a more casual crowd, especially on game day. This year, spend your Thanksgiving at The Phoenix, where you’ll be treated like family. Reservations are recommended!


The Suttle Lodge

2–4 p.m. or 6–8 p.m.

The Suttle Lodge is serving two separate dinners, one in the afternoon from 2–4 p.m. and one in the evening from 6–8 p.m. This Thanksgiving tradition continues, now with their friends L’Angolo Estate, providing perfect wine pairings alongside The Suttle Lodge’s famous turkey meatballs. This communal holiday meal will feature classic Thanksgiving hits with innovative and unique dishes. The afternoon dinner costs $50 per person with beverages offered a la carte, and the evening dinner is $75 per person, wine included. 10 Below

12–8 p.m.

Tucked inside Oxford Hotel, 10 Below is a hyper-local restaurant inspired by the sustainable food movement, offering a variety of urban-organic dishes made from locally sourced foods. On Thanksgiving, they are serving a four-course prix fixe menu as pianist Georges Bouey serenades guests at the piano in the lobby. The dinner costs $52 per person or $19 for ages 6–12, and is free for ages 5 and under. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 541-382-1010.
