  |  Neighborhood Insight, Portland

If you’ve ever tried to establish a workout routine, you know how difficult it can be. Not to mention, when you add kids to the mix, the challenge to get to the gym can be even greater. These gyms in the Lake Oswego area are hoping to remove at least a little of the barrier between you and the treadmill!

Each of these gyms offers a variety of fitness options and amenities, from yoga classes to barre classes, and swimming pools to saunas — plus the added benefit of childcare. Drop off your little ones for an hour or two of playtime while you sweat it out at the gym. This can go a long way in helping you and your family establish healthy habits and an active lifestyle!

Choose from 2–3 classes offered a day, during both the morning and night — all of which provide childcare for children 3 months and older in the room next door. Add $5 to your $20–23 drop-in fee or purchase a childcare 10-pack for $40 if you know you’ll be back!
