It may feel like we just celebrated the start of the new year, but St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner! The holiday falls on a Sunday this year, which means you have all weekend to celebrate all things Irish.
The city of Bend has a number of events in store — including an annual 5K, concerts, a winter festival, and more. And of course, in a city known for its craft beer, there will be no shortage of beer in Bend this St. Patrick’s Day!
All weekend long, the McMenamins Old St. Francis School is throwing a St. Patrick’s Day celebration unlike any other. They’re marking their favorite holiday with a seasonal McMenamins Irish Stout, Irish Coffee, Irish Reubens, and MacSleyne Irish Stew. Bring your McMenamins Passport to receive a green just-for-fun stamp, simply for stopping by! Enjoy live music from a variety of talented bands and musicians playing Irish music all weekend long. Take a look at the details for Friday, Saturday and Sunday to see the full music lineup.
Silver Moon Brewing is throwing a three-day extravaganza with lots of celebration, music, and of course — beer! Hear music from three incredible bands headlining the weekend’s festivities, including Sleepless Truckers on Friday night, Five Pint Mary on Saturday night, and Moon Mountain Ramblers on Sunday night. Plus, enjoy food and drink specials to complete the experience. There is a $8 cover on Friday and a $10 cover on both Saturday and Sunday.
While this event is not specifically St. Patrick’s Day themed, it is certainly an excellent place to spend the holiday weekend. Making a special stop at Mt. Bachelor for the weekend, Subaru Winterfest is a one-of-a-kind concert and mountain lifestyle tour where skiers, snowboarders, friends and families come together to share their love for all things winter. The three-day event will feature Americana, bluegrass, and indie music by national artists, daily giveaways, free s’mores, snacks, and hot beverages, and much more.
