In the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, it can be difficult to track down the season’s most popular celebrity. In addition to toy making, list making, behavior checking and cookie eating, Santa has managed to carve some time in his busy schedule to travel to Bend leading up to Christmas Eve.
Mark your calendars for these special visits with Santa in Bend, Oregon — from delicious brunch buffets to photo opportunities! And in the meantime, make sure you remain on his “nice” list…

Location: Old Mill District

Pose with the season’s biggest celebrity at the Old Mill District along the Deschutes River. Parents can even join in the fun by guessing the Celebrity Santa of the day — including local, county and state officials, as well as local personalities. SantaLand is located between Desperado and Avalon Salon and is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. the weekends leading up to Christmas. Doors open at 10:45 a.m. for sign-ups, but keep in mind that Santa’s schedule fills up quickly, so it’s wise to arrive early. Check in at SantaLand as soon as you arrive so they can take your phone number while you finish shopping or grab a bite to eat!

Location: Cascade Village Shopping Center

Take your little ones to the Cascade Village Shopping Center to visit with Santa on the weekends leading up to Christmas! Four Daughters Photography will be on site to capture the moment of awe and wonder as your child encounters and chats with Santa Claus. A portion of the proceeds from Santa Village will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Bend. This is a walk-in only event and no appointment is necessary. For questions, call or text 541-815-3958.

Santa will be stationed in downtown Bend each Saturday leading up to Christmas at Beach Hut Deli! Seeing Santa is completely free and you can take as many photos as you’d like. However, Santa does welcome donations to benefit his favorite charity, Cove/Copy, a program that sends at-risk children to summer camp near the Wallowa Mountains. Visit with Santa in downtown Bend each Saturday from noon to 4 p.m.

Location: Bend River Promenade
Santa will be spending lots of time at the Bend River Promenade throughout the month of December. In fact, he is available for visits each day through Christmas Eve! Head to the Interior Mall Corridor to pose for a special 4-by-6 photo with Santa, costing $5 on Mondays (except Christmas Eve) and $9.95 Tuesdays through Sundays. Bring your family’s collection of Santa photos to share with Santa or your favorite holiday storybook to be autographed. You can even bring your four-legged family member for a special pet photo opportunity on Thursdays from 5 to 7 p.m.!

Head to Sunriver Resort for a special brunch with Santa and all of his closest Sunriver friends! Enjoy a festive spread of all your holiday favorites, served buffet style, as you dine in the stunning Great Hall and mingle with characters — including Santa Claus himself. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 541-593-1000. The all-inclusive Brunch With Santa at the Great Hall costs $53 for adults, $28 for children, and is free for children 5 and under.
