Secret Society Ballroom

Location: 116 Northeast Russell Street

Step back in time with a visit to the Secret Society, a 1907 Victorian-era hall that once housed two fraternal organizations, countless artists and musicians, and many diverse events. Today, the Secret Society still embraces its Old World lodge mystique and rich history with a cocktail lounge, ballroom and recording studio. The ballroom served as a fraternal lodge meeting hall for roughly 90 years and now hosts a myriad of events, both public and private, including musical performances, private dining, weddings and parties. The ballroom is undeniably elegant, draped in lush red velvet, vintage wood detailing and other historic features.


Coopers Hall

Location: 404 Southeast 6th Avenue

Located just minutes from downtown Portland, Coopers Halls is a gorgeous urban winery and taproom that offers an inspiring space for events of all types and sizes. The main space, with soaring ceilings and lots of natural light highlighting the winery and tile bar, holds up to 180 seated or 225 standing guests. Plus, Coopers Hall offers additional spaces for more intimate gatherings, including the upstairs Mezzanine overlooking the winery and taproom and the Barrel Room, a semi-private industrial space surrounded by barrels. Coopers Hall also offers off-season rates for January, February and March for New Year’s or spring flings!


The Leftbank Annex

Location: 101 North Weidler Street

The modern industrial Leftbank Annex offers flexibility and versatility, as you may rent out the entire annex or the upper and lower floors separately. The great room boasts soaring beamed ceilings, large windows and city views — offering a unique industrial take on the classic ballroom setting. The mezzanine is a more intimate lounge area above the great room that works well for a smaller gathering or an added space for your large event. The clubroom is a converted machine shop featuring architectural columns, urban views, and divisible space.


The Evergreen

Location: 618 Southeast Alder Street

Located in the former event space for the Portland Police, The Evergreen is an expansive, state-of-the-art facility perfect for weddings, corporate parties, concerts and other events. With a capacity to accommodate groups of up to 550 people and world-class A/V infrastructure, The Evergreen is one of the best event spaces in the city. Plus, the venue partners with a preferred rentals vendor, The Party Place, to ensure all the details of your large-scale gathering are covered.


Urban Studio

Location: 935 Northwest Davis Street

This airy contemporary event space is situated in the heart of the Pearl District. The space was formerly occupied by the Denby Motor Truck Company and the venue still maintains some of its former warehouse features, including large windows, exposed ceilings and a versatile open floor plan. Plus, the garage door opens to the sidewalk on Northwest 10th Avenue with the Portland Streetcar just steps away. This inspiring event space can accommodate everything from a casual mingling cocktail party to a seated formal dinner, and everything in between.


Irving Street Kitchen

You may not realize that the beloved Irving Street Kitchen in the Pearl District has a private dining room available for events! In fact, their event space can accommodate anything from an intimate group of 15 to a cocktail reception for up to 150 people. The space is outfitted with exposed brick, warm hickory paneling and an eclectic collection of fine art along the walls. Plus, the restaurant offers a patio venue, a popular choice for rehearsal dinners, brunches, birthday parties, and business mixers. You can even book the private dining room and host a post-dinner cocktail hour on the heated and covered patio.


Elysian Ballroom

Location: 918 Southwest Yamhill Street

The warm and elegant space at the Elysian Ballroom is the perfect setting for your holiday party. This beautiful venue is centrally located across from Directors Park in the heart of downtown Portland. A special events package at the ballroom includes coffee and tea service, a dinner buffet or a heavy appetizer buffet, chairs, tables, linens, napkins, tableware, signage, a full staff, set up and clean up, and much more.

Located in the heart of Central Eastside Portland, Union/Pine is a social space designed to cultivate and inspire community and culture. They offer two separate venues with flexible layouts, an open catering policy, as well as a la carte services to ensure your event fulfills your exact needs. The “Main Venue” is the most versatile space, encompassing three main areas, including the sunken living room, a bar area, and an open back room. This unique layout means you can host a party here with a small group of 20 or as many as 300 people.


The Melody Event Center

The Melody Event Center has hosted a wide range of events over the years, from holiday parties and company gatherings to wedding receptions and quinceañeras. For their talented team of expert event planners, no idea is too big and no theme is too crazy. Their Grand Ballroom can accommodate up to 800 guests and the eastside ballroom is a bit more intimate, although it can fit up to 290 guests. Smaller parties can be held in the Portlandia and Morrison rooms, which can each fit up to 100 guests. Exchange Ballroom

The options are limitless at Exchange Ballroom, a flexible event venue near the river in East Portland. Choose from the contemporary ballroom, a massive 6,200-square-foot space perfect for a seated dinner or cocktail party, and the modern and sleek rooftop offering panoramic views of Mt. Hood, the river, and the downtown skyline. Rental of the main ballroom includes 300 black Chiavari chairs, 30 round tables, 12 tall bistro tables, one smaller round table, coat racks, three different lighting systems and more.
