It’s the spookiest time of the year! And the city of Bend and its surrounding communities will ensure you celebrate the season to the fullest. Take a look at these spooktacular (and some not-so-scary) Halloween events in and around Bend, from trick-or-treating events to magic shows and costume parties to beer-centric events. We included a mix of kid-friendly and adults-only events to ensure all ages can partake in the Halloween fun!

Boys & Girls Clubs of Bend Halloween Bingo

October 23 | 6–9 p.m.

Location: Boys & Girls Clubs of Bend, Bend

Halloween Bingo at Boys & Girls Club of Bend

Join the Halloween festivities at the Boys & Girls Club of Bend. Activities include a special Halloween-themed game of bingo, a costume contest, happy hour drink prices, raffle prizes and more. Doors open at 6 p.m. and games begin at 6:45 p.m. This event is for ages 18 and up. Admission is $15 to play and $5 to eat, and all proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Bend.

 

Halloween Costume Party at the Belfry

October 26 | 8–10 p.m.

Location: The Belfry, Sisters

The Belfry in Sisters is hosting a special costume party, featuring live music from David Jacob-Strain, a fierce slide guitar player and song poet from Oregon. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door!

 

Halloween Costume Party at Maragas Winery

October 27 | 7–10:30 p.m.

Maragas Winery is throwing the ultimate costume party, complete with a spooktacular dance floor, a private DJ playing Halloween hits, prizes for best costumes, fire pits, hors d’oeuvres and of course — wine. Tickets for this event are $25 at the door, and the price includes a commemorative crystal wine glass with a pour from one of their three medal-winning wines, complimentary hors d’oeuvres, and access to the various activities.

 

Halloween at McMenamins Old St. Francis

October 27 | 9 p.m.–12 a.m.

Location: McMenamins Old St. Francis School, Bend

Head to the McMenamins Old St. Francis School dressed in costume for a spooky evening of Halloween fun with music from Object Heavy and DJ Graceful Dead. Some areas at this historic school are said to be haunted and guests have claimed to have experienced paranormal activity. You be the judge… Admission for this 21+ event is $5 at the door.

 

Haunted Illusions & Halloween Party at Tower Theatre

October 31 | 6 p.m.

Experience a magical evening of dazzling spells, uproarious comedy, and tons of tricks and treats at Tower Theatre. The Haunted Illusions & Halloween Party will showcase a brilliant performance by David Caserta, one of the top touring illusionists in the country. This night of magic and illusion is suitable for ages 5 and over. Tickets range from $17 to $32.

The theater is also collaborating with the trick-or-treating festivities hosted by the Downtown Bend Business Association. The fun starts at 3 p.m. with trick-or-treating, a costume contest, photo booths, in-store events, and a pre-show costume parade in the theatre!

 

Central Oregon Community College Halloween Hall

October 31 | 4:30–6:30 p.m.

Location: Central Oregon Community College (Wickiup Hall), Bend

The residents of Central Oregon Community College’s Wickiup Hall invite all kids 12 and under to trick-or-treat with their parents. Kids will have a blast knocking on suite doors to receive candy, playing games and painting pumpkins. This event is completely free and open to the public!

 

Halloween in Downtown Bend

October 31 | 3–5 p.m.

Location: Downtown Bend

Trick-or-Treating

This beloved community tradition is back for another year of Halloween festivities in the heart of downtown Bend. Enjoy trick-or-treating for kids followed by a magic show at 6 p.m. Plus, don’t miss the myriad of events throughout downtown for all ages to enjoy. Halloween on 6th Street in Downtown Redmond

October 31 | 4–6 p.m.

Location: Downtown Redmond

Each year, residents of Redmond head downtown to go trick-or-treating at local businesses along 6th Street. The street is closed to cars from 4–6 p.m. on Halloween night, creating a fun and safe environment to enjoy this beloved tradition. Plus, enter the costume contest for a chance to win prizes! While you’re in downtown Redmond, head over to the Redmond Fire Department a few blocks over for their annual trunk-or-treating event from 4–7 p.m.

 

Halloween in the Village at Sunriver

October 31 | 4–6 p.m.

Location: The Village at Sunriver, Sunriver

Halloween Costume

Kids of all ages are invited to the Village at Sunriver’s annual spooktacular evening of fun, including trick-or-treating with village merchants, a costume contest, a bounce house, a cupcake walk, and ghoulish games. Don’t miss the pet costume contest at 5:30, where you can win prizes for best overall pet and owner costumes! This event in Sunriver is completely free to attend.

 

Instinct 2018: Halloween Warehouse Parties

November 2–3 | 8 p.m.–1 a.m. + 8 p.m.–2 a.m.

Location: Deschutes Brewery Warehouse, Bend

Don’t let the Halloween fun stop after the 31st. Deschutes Brewery is hosting two nights of non-stop excitement and music at their warehouse near the Old Mill District. Each night features different entertainment, so take a look at the music lineup to see which day you want to attend — or simply opt for both! General admission tickets are $30 for one night or $50 for both nights. VIP tickets are $60 for one night or $100 for both nights. Proceeds for this 21+ event benefit Oregon Adaptive Sports and the Mount Bachelor Sports Education Foundation.
