Bend Area Pumpkin Patches (And a Few Day Trip-Worthy Ones!)

  |  Central Oregon, Happenings, Neighborhood Insight

NOTE: This post was updated on September 24, 2019 to include current information for the fall season.

Fall is in full swing! It’s time for sweaters, crisp air, falling leaves, cider and pumpkin-themed everything. One of the best places to experience all of the above (and more!) is a local pumpkin patch.

We all know that the high desert climate in Central Oregon creates challenging conditions for local farmers. But that doesn’t stop a few hard-working farms in the region from growing crops — which of course includes pumpkins! Plus, there are several pumpkin patches and apple orchards worth making a trip to — situated a couple hours west or north of Bend. Consider a mini-road trip to these idyllic rural destinations for the ultimate fall experience!

Looking for some more pumpkin patches? Consider driving a tad further to the Portland area, where you’ll also find an abundance of pumpkins to pick from!
