With 30 years of experience in the real estate space, Principal Broker Kendall Bergstrom is a seasoned professional. Her desire to assist clients find their dream home began at a young age, as she witnessed the caring spirit and diligence of her mother.
Kendall began her real estate career in Washington, D.C. in 1988. Her mother was a realtor for 20 years in the Portland area after having been an elementary teacher in the Raleigh Park District. Kendall saw her mom transition from caring about children to helping adults find a wise investment in their next home, and was inspired by the care she put into each career. Kendall would often help her mother distribute flyers for open houses and witnessed her mom counsel and guide her clients through the process of listing a home for sale and finding the right neighborhood to call home.
Kendall graduated from UCLA in 1985 before moving to the East Coast. In 1988, she earned her real estate license and practiced in the Arlington, Virginia and Washington, D.C. markets. She immediately fell in love with the world of real estate. After one year of training through Merrill Lynch, she chose to move back to Portland, where she was born and raised, to continue her real estate career. Kendall became a principal broker in 1991.

Kendall especially appreciates the area for its proximity to the coast, mountains, rivers and beaches for an endless array of adventures.
“The Columbia Gorge is a day trip of spectacular hiking,” she said. “The views and vistas we have available to us daily are superb. Healthy living, engaged communities and giving back to each other form the foundation of a thriving community.”
Some of her favorite Lake Oswego hotspots include Chuckie Pies, Five Spice Seafood + Wine Bar, and Salt & Straw. And a month does not go by in the summer without an evening spent on the patio at Riccardo’s Ristorante, an authentic Italian eatery in Lake Oswego.
In her free time, Kendall enjoys relaxing on her back patio with the family while enjoying a BBQ or playing lacrosse, exploring wine country with a walk through vineyards, or hiking along the multitude of trails in the Gorge. But Kendall and her family don’t have to travel far for hiking options, as they live near the entrance to Cooks Butte trail system, where they frequently hike with their dogs in tow. Kendall also enjoys writing, and believes she eventually would like to write a children’s book!
After a lengthy and successful career navigating various markets and economic conditions, Kendall attributes her success to her mother’s example.

And ultimately, Kendall loves what she does.
