December 30 + 31, various times at Oregon Symphony

Explode into Colors is a beloved and reunited percussive art-rock trio from Portland and they’re playing brand new songs this New Year’s Eve weekend! Buy tickets online for their Saturday show or their Sunday show.
December 30 + 31, 9 p.m. at Revolution Hall
The Motet and Dirty Revival are coming to Revolution Hall for two nights over New Year’s Eve weekend. For an evening of retro funk and soul, buy your tickets for Saturday’s show or Sunday’s show. The venue is also offering a two-night pass which you can buy here!
December 30 + 31, 9 p.m. at Crystal Ballroom

Mason Jennings New Year’s Eve Show
December 31, 7 p.m. + 10 pm. at Alberta Rose Theatre
In celebration of NYE, Mason Jennings is bringing his band back to Portland for the first time in a long time! There are two shows at the Alberta Rose Theatre on December 31. You can buy tickets for the early show here and the late show here.
December 31, 8 p.m. + 10:30 p.m. at Helium Comedy Club
Ring in the new year with a live comedy show at Helium Comedy Club. With two shows, you have two opportunities to catch Matt Braunger — and the late show includes party favors and a midnight champagne toast! We recommend buying tickets online in advance.

Every year on New Year’s Eve, Portland-based Parson Red Heads celebrate with a special concert where they play one classic album from start to finish. To ring in 2018, they’re playing “What’s the Story (Morning Glory)?” by Oasis in its entirety at White Eagle Saloon. Buy tickets here; they’re only $10!
December 31, 9 p.m. at The Secret Society
Described by the Oregonian as “somewhere between the wacky funk of Parliament, the old school soul of the Ohio Players and modern rap”, Dr. Theopolis is a Portland original. He’s celebrating the new year at The Secret Society and you can buy your tickets here.
December 31, 9 p.m. at Jack London Revue
Born and raised in Portland, Kimberly Monique is sharing her explosive voice this NYE for guests at Jack London Revue. There are multiple ticket options ranging from $25 to $50; the VIP Dinner Package includes early entry, dinner, dessert, reserved seating, champagne and an artist meet and greet.

December 31, 10 p.m. at Salmon Street Springs Dock

As Portland’s most famous NYE party, the Champagne Ball has become an annual tradition for the city. Tickets include live bands, three DJs, four individually themed party rooms, 18 bars, food, party favors and a video countdown on three dance floors! December 31, 7:30 p.m. at The Barrel Room
The Barrel Room is Portland’s longest-running dueling piano bar. On New Year’s Eve, they’re celebrating with extra music from DJ Khop on the PatioBar and Los Angeles-based artists Liz Fohl and Steven Ramirez. From the 80s hits of Rekless Kompany to the country and rock sound of Northwest-based Jessie Leigh, this bash will be one for the record books. Tickets include a champagne toast, balloon drop, party favors, prizes and performances all night long!

The annual Governors Ball is a must-attend VIP event and Portland’s largest philanthropic New Year’s Eve Gala.
