We are incredibly proud and honored to announce that for the third consecutive year, the Portland Metropolitan Association of Realtors Good Neighbor Award winner is a Hasson broker.
On behalf of everyone at The Hasson Company we would like to congratulate Carolyn Weinstein as the recipient of this year’s PMAR Good Neighbor Award. This prestigious award recognizes one realtor for his or her extraordinary commitment to improving the quality of life in the community.
Carolyn has dedicated her life to community service and every year for the past 40 years has sat on at least one non-profit board of directors. Throughout her lifetime, Carolyn has been intensively involved in countless charitable organizations, including, The Urban Tour Group, which provides excursions for school children through Portland’s Historic District and an education on the history, art, and architecture of the area.
Carolyn and her daughter, Robin Weinstein, clean up a 2.5 mile stretch of Scholls Ferry Road each year and cook and provide food once a month for Goose Hollow Family Services.
“Carolyn is not only consistently one of our Top Producing brokers; she is an example of true life balance that we should all strive for. Her undying enthusiasm and passion for life and community has been shared with so many. We are all fortunate to have Carolyn in our lives. I can’t imagine a more deserving recipient.” – Lynae Forbes, Vice President Broker Services
Each PMAR Good Neighbor is given the opportunity to donate $1,000 to the charity of their choice in their name. This year, Carolyn has generously chosen Community Warehouse, a local nonprofit that collects donated household goods and furnishings and redistributes them to those in need.
We feel extraordinarily privileged to be associated with Carolyn in our everyday lives and look forward to continuing to watch how she is able to make an impact on all of those around her.
